Metronidazole, sold under trade names such as Flagyl® and Filmet®, is a nitroimidazole antibiotic drug used in the treatment and prevention of bacteria and protozoa infections. This stable-labeled internal standard is suitable for quantitation of metronidazole levels in biological samples by LC-MS/MS, or GC/MS for therapeutic drug monitoring or clinical and diagnostic testing applications.
