Dabigatran is an oral anticoagulant from the direct thrombin inhibitor class. Sold under the trade names Pradaxa® and Prazaxa®, dabigatran is used to prevent strokes or the formation of blood clots. This stable-labeled internal standard is suitable for quantification of dabigatran using LC/MS or LC-MS/MS methods for applications in clinical or diagnostic testing, clinical toxicology, or pharmaceutical research.
