Nortriptyline is a second generation tricyclic antidepressant (TCA) marketed under trade names such as Sensoval, Aventyl, and Pamelor for treatment of major depression. Nortriptyline is also an active metabolite of the TCA amitriptyline. This certified Snap-N-Spike® solution is suitable as an internal standard for quantitation of nortriptyline by LC/MS or GC/MS in clinical toxicology, forensic analysis, urine drug testing, isotope dilution methods, or medication monitoring applications.
