Thiamine pyrophosphate (Vitamin B1 pyrophosphate)
1 mg/mL in 50:50 Methanol:Water | Certified Reference Material
|
Thiamine pyrophosphate, also known as TPP or ThPP, is the biologically active form of vitamin B1. It is usually measured in whole blood or in plasma. While plasma thiamine concentration reflects recent intake rather than body stores, whole blood is the preferred specimen for thiamine assessment. This Certified Spiking Solution® is suitable for use as a starting material in preparation of linearity standards, calibrators, and controls in a variety of testing applications from diagnostic testing of thiamine deficiency to quality control testing of thiamine-based dietary supplements, fortified foods or pharmaceutical preparations.
