N-Desmethylcyclobenzaprine, or norcyclobenzaprine, is the major urinary metabolite of the skeletal muscle relaxant cyclobenzaprine, sold under trade names such as Flexeril, Fexmid, and Amrix. Cyclobenzaprine is used to relieve skeletal muscle spasms and associated pain from acute musculoskeletal conditions.
